شیائومی در سال ۲۰۲۱ از اولین گوشی تاشو خود رونمایی کرد و سال گذشته نسل دوم این گوشی راهی بازار شد. متاسفانه هر دو گوشی فقط به بازار چین راه پیدا کردند. ساعاتی قبل این شرکت در چین از گوشی تاشو شیائومی میکس فولد ۳ رونمایی کرد که امیدواریم به بازارهای جهانی هم راه پیدا کند.
این گوشی از طراحی بسیار جذابی بهره می‌برد و ضخامت آن در حالت بسته و باز به ترتیب ۱۰.۸۶ میلی‌متر و ۵.۲۶ میلی‌متر است. وزن آن هم به ۲۵۵ گرم می‌رسد. برای مقایسه باید بگوییم که ضخامت گلکسی زد فولد ۵ در حالت بسته و باز به ترتیب ۱۳.۴ و ۶.۱ میلی‌متر است. این یعنی به طور قابل توجهی باریک‌تر از زد فولد ۵ محسوب می‌شود اما به باریکی آنر مجیک V2 نیست.
شیائومی مدعی شده که برای این گوشی از لولای بسیار بهتری استفاده کرده که این لولا علاوه بر کاهش ضخامت بدنه، می‌تواند در برابر ۵۰۰ هزار مرتبه باز و بسته گوشی دوام بیاورد. به لطف طراحی جدید لولا، کاربران شیائومی میکس فولد ۳ می‌توانند گوشی را در هر زاویه‌ی بین ۴۵ تا ۱۳۵ درجه قرار دهند. این یعنی مانند گوشی‌های تاشو سامسونگ، امکان استفاده از قابلیت مشابه Flex Mode برای پخش ویدیو، عکاسی و دیگر موارد این‌چنینی وجود دارد.
شیائومی در رویداد معرفی این گوشی، هیچ اشاره‌ای به گواهی IP نکرد و بنابراین به نظر می‌رسد برخلاف گوشی‌های تاشو سامسونگ، این گوشی شیائومی ضدآب نیست.
در بخش بیرونی این گوشی با نمایشگر ۶.۵۶ اینچی FHD+ مبتنی بر پنل OLED روبرو هستیم که رفرش‌ریت ۱۲۰ هرتزی ارائه می‌دهد. در بخش داخلی هم نمایشگر تاشو ۸.۰۳ اینچی LTPO OLED با رزولوشن ۲۱۶۰ در ۱۹۱۶ و رفرش‌ریت ۱۲۰ هرتز تعبیه شده است. بیشتر گوشی‌های تاشو بازار معمولا در زمینه‌ی دوربین حرف زیادی برای گفتن ندارند. اما شیائومی میکس فولد ۳ در این زمینه هم فوق‌العاده ظاهر شده است. به طور مشخص در پنل پشتی ۴ دوربین اصلی تعبیه شده است؛ دوربین اصلی ۵۰ مگاپیکسلی، اولترا واید ۱۲ مگاپیکسلی، دوربین تله فوتو ۱۰ مگاپیکسلی با زوم ۳.۲ برابری و دوربین پریسکوپی ۱۰ مگاپیکسلی با زوم ۵ برابری. همچنین در نمایشگر داخلی و بیرونی هم دوربین سلفی ۲۰ مگاپیکسلی قرار دارد.
از دیگر ویژگی‌های بسیار مهم، باید به بهره‌گیری از چیپست اسنپدراگون ۸ نسل ۲، باتری ۴۸۰۰ میلی‌آمپر ساعتی، پشتیبانی از شارژ سیمی ۶۷ وات و شارژ بی‌سیم ۵۰ وات اشاره کنیم. مدل ۱۲/۲۵۶ گیگابایتی این گوشی با قیمت ۱۲۳۹ دلار راهی بازار چین می‌شود و کاربران چینی برای خرید مدل ۱۶/۱ باید ۱۵۱۵ دلار بپردازند. هنوز مشخص نیست که آیا این گوشی راهی بازار جهانی می‌شود یا نه.
